Baycurrent Classic DFS preview: a no-cut field changes the build
DraftEdge's preview of the Baycurrent Classic at Yokohama CC: a no-cut, roughly 72-player field where ceiling beats safety. The headline finding is free. Our approach is for subscribers.
The next PGA Tour event is the Baycurrent Classic, October 8 to 11, at Yokohama Country Club (West Course) in Japan. It is a small, no-cut field, and that changes how we build a DraftKings lineup.
Headline finding
With no cut, all six golfers in a lineup play four rounds, so make-cut odds stop mattering and ceiling is everything. In a field of about 72, ownership overlaps heavily, so the edge is in mid-priced players the crowd is not on.
The course is a par 71 of about 7,300 yards on bentgrass, tree-lined, and the PGA Tour only started hosting here in 2025. Japan Tour history is thin on shot-level detail, so course history carries less weight than usual.
